It is learning how to <strong>control your own mind and emotions<\/strong>, to make decisions from a place of mental clarity and to anticipate the consequences of your actions.  And all of this involves exercising your mind: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><b>Emotional Control:<\/b> Learn to manage your emotions and not to react impulsively to challenging situations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><b>Mental Clarity:<\/b> Take distance between the stimulus and your response, operating from a more objective perspective.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><b>Conscious Anticipation:<\/b> Project your mind into the future to visualize how your decisions will impact your results.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>When you focus on your self-mastery, you become the person capable of achieving any outcome. To develop self-control is equivalent to mentally exercise the specific neuronal connections that open that &#8220;path&#8221; in your brain so that it becomes an automation. And like everything in life, it is achieved through repetition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will have seen many people talking about it, giving you empty advice such as: do something new every day, drink tea, do yoga&#8230;. blah, blah blah blah &#8230;. ALL OF US, WITHOUT EXCEPTION. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Self-mastery allows you to face life&#8217;s challenges with determination and resilience, but most of all with success in achieving whatever goal you set for yourself, whether it&#8217;s weight loss, quitting smoking, stopping procrastination, money or any other goal. But how can we achieve this level of self-mastery?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">By preparing ourselves to achieve self-mastery and self-control<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To achieve self-mastery, or self-control of emotions, you must be prepared to face moments of adversity. Instead of passively waiting for challenges to arrive, you must anticipate and mentally prepare yourself to be the best version of yourself during those critical moments. Month after month of dedication and mental training are the key to strengthening our mind and preparing it for any future challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Facing adversity with courage and determination will allow you to say with confidence, &#8220;I will do whatever it takes when the time comes while maintaining control of my feelings.&#8221; The true test of self-mastery is the ability to know <strong>how to master the power of the mind <\/strong>to maintain calmness and mental clarity in the midst of the storm with authentic self-control, directing your energy and efforts in the direction and strength appropriate to the moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Self-mastery is not a gift, but a skill that develops with practice and exercise. Preparing yourself for difficult moments should be a must in any human being in order to have full potential and face any challenge with confidence and inner strength.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Key to Self-Mastery: Preparation and Awareness<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Self-mastery<\/b> becomes the fundamental tool to ensure that we have the right response to the stimuli that arise in our daily lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Becoming Aware of Consciousness<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Viktor Frankl, renowned psychiatrist and writer, stated that <em>&#8220;the space between the stimulus and the response is where all our power lies&#8221;.<\/em> This invites us to reflect on the importance of being aware and possessing the right amount of <b>awareness<\/b> in that crucial space of time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Therefore, the real challenge lies in training our <b>mindset<\/b>. How do we achieve this? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An everyday example is the moment when the alarm clock goes off in the morning. This simple act represents a stimulus that wakes us up to reality, and in that instant a space opens up between that stimulus and our response. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is in this brief lapse of time that your ability to make decisions and act with <b>awareness<\/b> is defined. Do you get up immediately or do you decide to stay in bed a little longer? This seemingly simple moment of awakening reveals the importance of being aware and acting with determination from the first moment of the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another more extreme example would be colon cancer. You get the news, you have to have surgery, you know the whole process afterwards and the painful and traumatic road behind it. Your emotions boil over at an unbridled pace and your thoughts and mind are running wild. You have the option of letting people make decisions for you about what you should or should not do, what to eat, how you should feel, etc&#8230;. The normal thing is that you let other people dominate you because you are a &#8220;sick&#8221; person and you can no longer make decisions&#8230;.. If you have mastery and self-control, you will determine that you only want to have good times during the whole process and do things that make you laugh or else, you will prohibit all people because of their &#8220;interest&#8221; to ask you at all times about your illness and instead of gloating about it or posting it on twitter to &#8220;receive&#8221; sympathy. You will choose the people you want to be with, and you will determine that the priority is that your mind and mood is always elevated, reserving moments to exercise your mind by empowering and calming it. And you will even be able to change the course of the disease by acting differently emotionally. But the latter is already an advanced mental topic that we will touch on at another time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Preparation and <b>awareness<\/b> of the power of your consciousness are, therefore, the fundamental pillars to develop your self-control and ensure that your responses to stimuli are accurate and aligned with the goals and values you desire.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mentalent.pro\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/napkin-selection-12-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-867\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Inner Work: Strengthening your Reserve<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><b>I say all work is inner work<\/b>, every action you take is inner work that contributes to strengthening your emotional and mental reserve. You build a space between stimulus and response, which allows you to act more consciously and effectively in challenging situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Facing Financial Challenges<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When you find yourself facing events that trigger complicated situations, it is crucial to reflect on <b>how you act in those moments<\/b>. Many people are overwhelmed by financial conflicts and feel like the world is collapsing around them. However, you need to understand that most of these fears are the product of your mind running amok. Your subconscious takes over and you don&#8217;t know <strong>how to master the subconscious mind<\/strong> so you can stop the horror you are feeling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Fear of Loss: The idea of losing everything, including home, vehicle or financial stability, is a scenario that, for the most part, is created by the mind. And even if you physically lose it, de facto, that fear paralyzes you and pulls you under and keeps you from taking action.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Overcoming Fear: Accepting that the fear of losing is just a mental projection is the first step to facing challenges with courage. And that if you have lost all that in reality, you have to overcome the fear or anguish to be able to take the right actions to reverse the situation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignfull size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mentalent.pro\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/autodominio-y-autocontrol-de-la-mente-mentalent-2-1-1024x579.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-469\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">True Self-Control is Living Without Fear <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I, personally, have experienced total loss and previously the fear of losing everything. However, I realized that it was only by facing my fears that I was able to free myself from their control. Losing everything allowed me to get rid of the fear that dominated my previous life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Facing what we fear gives us the opportunity to live authentically and fully. Don&#8217;t let the fear of the unknown paralyze you, for only by facing it can you discover your true inner strength. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But&#8230; how do you face it? What is the &#8220;magic&#8221; recipe? A very simple one. For your exterior to change, you must first change your interior, you may have already heard that, and for that to change, you can only do it by changing your mind, your beliefs, which are what elevate and change your energy so that you put yourself into action.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mentalent.pro\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/napkin-selection-1-8-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-868\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Strengthening Character in the Face of Adversity<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When we are faced with uncomfortable or disconcerting situations, that is when our true character is put to the test. It is in those moments of vulnerability that we can solidify our identity and chart a path toward self-improvement. Learning to operate from a place of strength and confidence allows us to face any circumstance with courage and determination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Life is full of ups and downs, victories and defeats, but it is in moments of adversity that we truly grow and transform ourselves. Let us be grateful for every experience, whether positive or negative, because they all contribute to forge our character, to teach us. And the way to give you the strength to face the unknown with courage and determination is your mind. That is why it becomes increasingly relevant that you become aware that managing and improving your consciousness is fundamental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Power of Choice<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In those critical moments, we are presented with a crucial decision: stand up or give up.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It is at this precise moment when we must awaken to the reality of our responsibility in the face of circumstances.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><b>It is not just a matter of waking up physically, but of becoming aware of your thinking<\/b>. Many times, without even realizing it, you feed thoughts that sabotage you and end up materializing in your reality. Thoughts have the power to become actions, and many times, inactions in the form of action, even subconsciously. If you do not control your mind and direct your energy towards the right thoughts that make you achieve your goals, you will inevitably attract what you fear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The key is to <b>take <strong>control of your mind<\/strong><\/b>, to know <strong><em>how to control your mind and thoughts<\/em><\/strong>, to direct your thoughts towards construction instead of destruction. By being aware of your emotions and thoughts, you can actively shape your reality. Remember, where your energy flows, that is where everything is directed. It&#8217;s time to wake up, to consciously choose the kind of life you want to live. The power is in your hands!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Connect with your Thought Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In life, it is crucial to <b>realize<\/b> where your thought process is. This involves being <b>aware<\/b> of what is going on around you and within you. <b>Intelligence<\/b> goes hand in hand with awareness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Master Your Mind and Thoughts: Apply What You Have Learned<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you are aware of what is happening, you can apply everything you have learned. It is in difficult moments that your true essence is put to the test. When you face situations like the loss of a loved one, a divorce or any other adversity, that&#8217;s when you really discover who you are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Forge Your Character With Self Mastery<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It is in those moments of adversity that our <b>character<\/b> is forged. It is vital to remember that how you react to adversity defines who you really are. It is these trials that allow us to grow and evolve as people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remember, life is full of challenges, but it is precisely these challenges that allow us to grow and become the best version of ourselves. Focus on making your mind strong and resilient in the face of adversity, rather than allowing circumstances to define you. The moments of adversity are the ones that challenge us and allow us to transform and if you are prepared, mentally speaking, your transformation will be faster and better than the average person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are facing a new dawn, a good day is coming. It is important to recognize that facing difficult times provides us with valuable lessons. In times of joy and comfort, we often do not grow as much as in times of crisis. Overcoming these vices has been a journey that has led me to reflect on the importance of <b>working on myself<\/b>. With all that I know, how many lives can be changed by breaking free from these chains? How many more could benefit from all the knowledge I possess?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The importance of action and mindset<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Selling water, for example, may be meaningful to some, but what happens when we are faced with deeper vices? It is crucial to understand that while water is essential, if we are stuck in a destructive cycle, we need more than just a change in our daily routine to improve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When I observe people with extraordinary untapped potential, I wonder why some talented people fail to achieve the success they deserve. It&#8217;s a common pattern: talent alone is not enough. The key lies in <b>action, the right mindset, discipline and consistency<\/b>. The funny thing is that you are usually told that discipline, consistency and willpower are key, but no one teaches you HOW TO DO IT. And that is the biggest trap of people who tell you, write a diary, go to the gym, do one different thing a day, etc&#8230;..  And after a while you see how their lives are worse because they have done it for a few days but failed, or they manage for example to make a fortune of money, but then they are submissive in drugs or alcohol. It is crucial to free ourselves from the burden of trying to perfectly understand something we don&#8217;t need to know in detail from the beginning. You don&#8217;t need to be an expert right away, the essential thing is to <b>get started<\/b>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Imagine if I sat down to explain complex concepts like <b>macros<\/b> to a beginner. You would probably feel overwhelmed and lost, not understanding what it is all about. On the other hand, if I invite you to commit, to go deeper step by step, the dynamic changes completely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I would guide you through each step, so that you first understand the starting point, then advance to the next level and finally reach a comprehensive understanding. This progressive approach is the key to assimilating and applying knowledge effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remember, the secret is not to understand everything at once, but to take one step at a time, assimilating each stage before advancing to the next level. And this, in fact, is a problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>why settle for mediocrity when you can aspire to something greater? Being average and immersing yourself in mediocrity is like punishing yourself. That feeling of inner discomfort of being on the beach and not feeling comfortable with your own appearance shouldn&#8217;t be your reality. It&#8217;s not your genetics and it&#8217;s not your destiny &#8211; you have the power to change!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Don&#8217;t self-destruct with negative thoughts and self-criticism. Instead, choose action, transformation and opportunity. Don&#8217;t settle for what you have if it doesn&#8217;t make you happy. Have the courage to turn your destiny around.
